Rodney serves as interim executive director of Open Access, bringing more than 25 years of experience across the nonprofit and public sectors. A creative, dynamic, and detail-oriented leader, he is known for building strong programs, developing teams, and connecting organizations with the communities they serve.
His background spans program and staff development, marketing, community outreach, and public and media relations. He is an accomplished public speaker, presenter, writer, and performer, with a talent for making complex ideas clear. Fluent in Spanish, he brings a multicultural lens and an inclusive leadership style to the work.
In this role he is focused on providing stability, supporting staff and partners, strengthening communications, and advancing the mission of Open Access through a period of transition.
